The context: A personal project I made for my own pre-school girls. It's a mobile game that contains a collection of small food-based games, with no ads, tracking, in-app purchases, or ongoing subscriptions to worry about. It's fun and safe for kids while being easy on the parents' wallet.
What was shipped: The entire thing was built and shipped on iOS and Android, using native code on each.

Sousy helps you decide what to cook, saves recipes you'll actually use, and walks you through every step — with timers, prep lists, and answers when you get stuck.

The context: This was a personal project where I wanted to replace my usage of ChatGPT for talking thru cooking problems and recipes. It features a Chat with an AI Sous Chef who can import recipes for you from web and social, adjust them, talk thru them, search online for recipes, or create them on-the-fly. It's also a full recipe management app with grocery list and menu planning.
What was shipped: The entire project was built and shipped on web, iOS, and Android.

Cookback

A private cooking journal: write down what you did, so you can look back and cook it better.

The context: This was a personal project built out of my passion for grilling. I wanted a simple but elegant way to track notes during my cooks, and to be able to look back on them when I'm cooking the same thing again later. It's a fully private cooking journal, stored locally on your device (or your device's cloud storage), but offers AI summarizing and being able to ask questions about your past cooks, with answers grounded in your own notes.
