Lec Dealer Apps
Enterprise Dealership Inventory ops.
- The context
- Independent dealerships pay too much for a patchwork of disconnected tools — a bare-bones DMS, spreadsheets for tracking recon, no shared visibility into where a car actually is between drop-off, detail, service, and the front line. Enterprise platforms like CDK, Reynolds, and DealerTrack are built (and priced) for franchise stores, leaving independent and Buy Here Pay Here lots underserved.
- What was shipped
- A multi-tenant SaaS dealership management platform, architected subdomain-per-dealer with full data isolation. Core features: make-ready/recon workflow tracking with a TV-mounted live board for bay-level crew visibility, inventory management with mobile VIN scanning and CSV import, a deal-desking module (DMR Desk) for structuring Finance/BHPH/Cash deals, a Puppeteer-driven print workspace generating 50+ compliance PDF templates, role-based access control, and real-time updates across devices. Also owns the full infrastructure: migrated hosting from Replit to Render, database on Supabase Postgres, and a Cloudflare Worker handling wildcard subdomain routing. Currently running 44 active dealership tenants in the DFW market, sold and onboarded directly, lot by lot.
- Operator contribution
- I built this all. And continue to upgrade and maintain.
